Biography
Hi! Call me Aleks.
I’m a Mexican graphic designer with a crush on films. I started my professional journey almost 10 years ago in Mexico’s National Museum of Art, where I connected with my passion for art and visual communication. Since then, I’ve developed in multiple creative fields, such as branding, podcasting, creative copywriting, film commentary, public speaking, and, of course, poster design. All of this is also driven by my love for words, oral expression and cinema.
For the past three years, I’ve focused my career on poster design, allowing me to expand my love for movies into functional and expressive key arts and marketing products. This has allowed me to work with independent filmmakers and important agencies from the industry in upcoming releases.
I also like to create compelling narratives for cultural, commercial, and social projects, like naming a start-up, finding a catchy slogan, or designing the official merch for a project. This also has led me to create my own professional podcast called Filmstrumental about movie music and to be a guest in some YouTube videos where I discuss film and design.
